Sprint cup- kyle busch triumphs at bristol

Sprint Cup- Kyle Busch Triumphs at Bristol

With only two races scheduled before the start of the Chase for the Sprint Cup, the question arises: which 12 drivers will be participants in the event? As the excitement rises, so too does the tension; the drivers who are already guaranteed a spot are working harder to keep their positions, while those who are not participants are making a major effort to reach a place. Race after race the battle becomes more intense, as demonstrated last weekend at the Bristol Motor Speedway. The field was filled with top drivers and the track riddled with complexity, but Kyle Busch managed to take the victory in the 24th event of the Nascar Sprint Cup Series. The race was characterized by constant inconveniences on the track, causing the event to be stopped on 11 occasions. Despite the difficulties, however, the younger Busch brother gave a brilliant – even flawless – performance. Busch, who left the grid from 15th place, remained steadfast in his objective, advancing at full speed while avoiding the strong attacks of his closest pursuers. Busch’s strategy allowed him to rise through the ranks until he was placed within the group that controlled the pace of the competition. Lap after lap drivers clashed, seeking to take first place. The intensity increased, and yellow flags were repeatedly dropped, interrupting the extensive 500-lap route that marked the event. Because of the constant accidents and repeated restarts, the race was led by 12 different drivers, the most notable of which were Jimmie Johnson, Mark Martin, and Tony Stewart. Busch, driving the #18 Toyota Camry, had to redouble his efforts to gain a chance at the lead. With less than 100 laps to go, Johnson and Martin were the focus of attention for the race, battling for first place. Johnson had to make a pit stop for a tire change, giving Martin a chance at first. However, both drivers’ efforts were spoiled; Busch passed Martin, leaving the famed driver in second place. Busch was able to remain in front, even after a multiple-car accident, a yellow flag, and yet another restart. Martin continued to pressure Busch, but the driver was able to defend his position and keep first place. Then, with just four laps to go, Clint Bowyer and Michael Waltrip engaged in a serious crash, causing a final restart. Nevertheless, Busch held his position as leader, finally reaching the checkered flag and taking the triumph. Martin, who led 240 of the 500 laps, came in second. “What a class act,” Busch said of Martin. “He deserved to win this race. I’m sorry he got second. I know how he feels. But man, I drove as hard as I could.” With the victory, Busch raised two positions in the drivers’ standings and is currently placed at 13th with 2,911 points. He is just 34 points behind Matt Kenseth, who is in 12th. He also has a chance to join the list of the 12 best drivers that will compete in that championship of champions, the Chase for the Sprint Cup.

Paintball for virgins

Paintball For Virgins

Played in over 40 countries throughout the world by millions of gaming enthusiasts, paintball has been recognized as one of the most exciting outdoor sports in existence today. People from all walks of life, the majority being men, come together to experience the thrill of firing a marker at your enemy and seeing that pellet splatter against his uniform. While it may sound exciting and fun, it is not an easy game to master. If you are thinking of getting into the sport and do not know how then here are some useful tips you need to know before hitting the battle field:

1. Gear up. Paintguns also called “markers” come in different styles and shapes. Most of these are powered by N2, compressed air or CO2. In warmer weather regions, players are encouraged to use CO2. On the other hand, you can use a siphon tank to make your gun work better in cold weather. If you are just starting out don’t invest in expensive equipment. Low-priced markers start at $125.00. Make sure to cover your legs, ankles, neck and arms with proper paintball clothing. Believe me; you’ll thank me later for that. Once you have everything in place you are ready for battlefield.

2. Strategize. No battle is won without a great strategy and paintball is no exception. First thing to remember, don’t fire your paintballs randomly. Only strike when the right opportunity comes along. Shooting from a distance will reveal your position, so make sure you get closer first before firing. Know your enemies’ position by knowing where your allies are. Be quiet and patient, make light footsteps and crawl if you must to get to a good position. Good position is the key to winning the battle.

3. Attack. When you know your opponents’ position attack in a group so you will overwhelm them. Outnumbering them will be a great attack plan to disarm them. Cover your team and when an attack is about to be launched but do not shoot unless you have someone to cover you at every angle.

4. Safety. No player will be allowed to play without the proper gear and safety measurements. Paintballers are required to wear goggles and safety masks at all time. These custom-designed goggles and safety masks must be worn at all times in the playing field even if the player has been already eliminated from the game. Rules and safety are enforced by referees and they have the right to eliminate a player if they discover that he is in violation of safety rules and regulations.

These are simple rules to remember for an adrenaline-inducing game. Above that, paintball is a character-building sport that teaches teamwork, leadership, self-confidence and develops one’s intelligence, determination, strength, agility and decisiveness. This is why corporations are now starting to encourage their employees and managers to participate in this game. Now what would be more fun that shooting your markers at your boss? Just make sure than when you do get the chance, he won’t be able to fire back at you or “fire” you when you get back!

How to have a great time bowling

How to Have a Great Time Bowling

Bowling amateurs as well as professionals agree on one thing about the game. Bowling relieves tension and stress and helps free many emotions that cannot be released in any other way. What better way to have fun and enjoy the time spent either for a healthy competition or merely a friendly game than to go bowling. Below are more tips to get everyone participating in the game to enjoy the sport.

1. Experiment with different kinds of bowling balls. Try the different weights, size, and colors until the most comfortable ball is found. Rule of thumb is: choose the ball that is most comfortable to carry and release but make sure the weight is heavy enough.

2. If playing bowling is turning out to be a passion, purchase a custom made bowling ball; one made for ease, and with holes drilled especially to fit the owner’s fingers.  3. Discount sporting goods stores carry a wide selection of bowling balls that are less expensive and yet perform very well.

4. Choose bowling shoes that fit perfectly and do not pinch the toes.  Avoid slippery soled shoes and to get the best deal check with the many discount stores.

5. Begin by placing the feet at the start of the alley for this affects the ball’s direction. Try different angles and places to get the right angle for releasing the ball. Once the perfect spot is discovered, make sure to stand in the same place each time for consistency.

6. To attain perfect balance, right-handed players step with their right foot first when they approach the foul line and the left foot is used to give the last step when the ball is released and vise versa.

7. Practice doing the steps slowly and visualize a ball in your hand. It will be helpful to do the flare in front of a mirror to get used to the way the body is maneuvered during the approach.

8. Always aim at the head pin. Look at the balls closely and concentrate on hitting the target. Never take the eyes away from the head pin during the first or second ball. Professionals say that balls really do follow the player’s eyes.

9. Bend the knees when releasing the ball as this creates ball control.

10.Avoid turning the wrist to prevent fracture. 11. Wipe the ball as often as needed to keep dirt and oil from sticking to it and make sure that it is dry. Using a clean ball during the game helps the ball get the curve desired.

No matter how when a player started bowling, it is the passion and the sense of fun that leads him to success. Just keep on practicing and the scores will continue to grow.
